Hi, Only when I use Yahoo for my mail, almost every time I read my mail, then hit the delete button, it comes up to cannot display page. Also, this happens when I sign into Yahoo and it says I have mail...I put in my password and the next page is the unknown one again. refreshing doesn't help. Anyone else had that problem? How can I fix it? It gets really frustrating and as I mentioned, it ONLY happens in Yahoo, I sent e-mail to their support but got no-where and I also searched the site here for answers but to no avail. thanks If your car is running good...don't give it a tune-up....same goes for your PC....and when in doubt...try a system restore to the point when the PC ran good...it WORKS!

Having similar problems with yahoo mail myself with page cannot be dispalyed. Yesterday I had to make 5 attempts to log in because I kept getting that page and I also get it deleting mail and such, I hit the back button and try again and then it works. I have a link saved directly to the mail log in page and I couldn't get that to load a few times yesterday but other sites were fine. After I couldn't get in I went to yahoo.com clicked mail and it logged in fine from there but that shouldn't have made a difference it's the same page. Could be a a fluke but yahoo started doing this for me after zone alarm gave out that update. I have been using yahoo about 5yrs. now problem free until recently when I got that zone alarm update. Temp files and internet files are clear, scanned and removed few spyware maintenace is done so it's none of that causing it. Happy AOL user for 5yrs.

Hi Mary, i don't think mine has anything to do with my sygate firewall. I just sent another letter to yahoo to see if they can iron it out. I did notice that my http://download.yahoo.com/dl/mail/autocomplete.cab is said to be damagedwhen I did a system information report. If your car is running good...don't give it a tune-up....same goes for your PC....and when in doubt...try a system restore to the point when the PC ran good...it WORKS!

If you don't use the free version of zone alarm then that can't be it but I know people have been complaing about the zone alarm update so I was thinking that was causing it. How to you do a system information report to find out about the damged file? Maybe mine is damaged also? Happy AOL user for 5yrs.

hi all yahoo is in the middle of upgrading all features,which sucks.new messanger bites.i have my own photo album on yahoo and when i try to access it i get the page cannot be displayed.its strictly a yahoo problem,nothing to do with firewalls or updates.been this way this they started updates 2 months ago.they are reducing things,mail has gone from 4 mb to 3mb of space.so i guess we all sit and wait till yahoo is done.

Mary, Click start>all programs>accesories>system tools>system information. When that opens, click on the + internet settings then click on + at internet Explorer, then click on + at cache, then left click on list of objects and it will give you a list of information and tell you which files are damaged. You learn something new every time you read these boards. I had no idea about the system check there. I have two that are damaged, one being this. I only use yahoo mail I don't use messenger so why do I have a damaged yahoo file? http://download.yahoo.com/dl/mail/autocomplete.cab I didn't know yahoo was changig the last two months. I guess since my problems only started last week it's finally catching up to me. The log in page still says 4mb of mail but when I log in it says my limit is 6mb. Thanks for all the info.
