Unknown file Rem60.exe won't delete
Name: kbv Date: March 18, 2004 at 07:46:15 Pacific OS: windows XP CPU/Ram: Pentium III 328MB
Comment:
An application file called Rem60.exe has appeared in my local settings/temp folder. It won't delete. When I try to, a message pops up saying windows explorer has encountered an error, then it shuts down. Combed the 'net for anything on Rem60.exe but found nothing. Ran Norton Antivirus and Ad Aware, but both didn't identify or delete this thing. Help.

Check your task list and see if there are any running processes with the same file name running, if there are, end it then try deleting the file once more.

Search google for MoveOnBoot. Free. It will remove the file on the next boot.
