Comment: Hello. I am not sure if My Network Places is corrupt, but when I add the c: or d: drives with add network places, it shows them on the computer "Unknown", when it is the computer I am working on. goofy. I tried renaming the computer, rebooted. It worked until I accessed the network place the first time. Ran spybot and virrusscan.

Reply: (edit)If you want to add them to the local network just right click on the drive icon in my computer and select the sharing tab. Follow the directions you find there. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

Reply: (edit)I can click on them and access them, it is just odd that the computer says unknown. Lets say I have 2 computers. Computer marcusgi and computer setishock. Well, My network places shows C: D: E: F: for setishock, but then says C: D: E: F: for Unknown. I can share files but it should say for marcusgi and I can group it by computer.
