i cannot copy my camera pics to the pc---i need universal serial bus and can't find it??
You shouldn't need a driver, Windows has them built in. What happens when you connect your camera? You might try using a card reader instead of connecting your camera.
Universal Serial Bus USB for short. You should have multiple USB ports. If they are not working then you need to install the chipset drivers for the motherboard/computer. If your camera came with a USB cable then after connecting it you need to set the switch on the camera to the correct position and then look for the camera in My Computer.
If your pc is older make sure the camera plugs straight(no hub) into a 2.0 Hi Speed USB port.
I have seven USB ports on my pc but only two are 2.0 Hi Speed USB ports. My camera will only work with the 2.0 ports.Please reply and let us know if our help worked. Your feedback helps others. Maybe you?
