I made the mistake of installing xp over win 98 and now when i tried unistalling xp it comes up with a error saying setup missing files.It starts to uninstall then stops half way there? What do i do??

I have no idea how to fix the problem your having but heres another option.......Format the hardrive,install windows 98 then load all of the data and applications from the back up disks you created before attempting to upgrade your operating system.
