uninst.exe procedure entry point

CPU/Ram: Athalon 2400/256

I got an error message after removing the W32pinfi virus on my comp. It says that the uninst.exe file wasn't found.
"The Procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

so now i can't uninstall any programs

how do i get another copy???

I got a similar message after repairing an XP syspreped deployment when accessing the System Restore tab.

Reinstalling Service patch 1 did the trick for me, so it might be worth a go!
