Uninstall XP firewall Completely ?

is it possible to completely Uninstall the XP firewall (ICF). ?
(i know how to disable it but that isnot my question)

I just found out that XP- SP2's firewall isnot the same as Internet Connection Firewall of ealier versions.
But my question remains the same.

No it is not possible to install the XP Firewall. Even though you have disabled it, there are still elements of it in use.
Windows loads a temporary firewall during the boot up process to protect the computer until such times as a full firewall is loaded. This protects the computer during the boot process and is stopped once the boot process is complete or a full firewall is loaded, either a third party one or the full windows firewall.
