Just go to the microsoft site. It has all you need to know about installing xp.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

delete the linux partitions. create a windows partition, do a full format of the windows partition (ntfs or fat32). Install XP.

You will also need to run some form of an old win95 or win98 dos bootdisc and run "fdisk/mbr"
This will remove the Linux boot loader from your MBR.

They can be found at www.bootdisk.com

I figured this was a joke. Who would know enough to dual install two linux distro's and ask the most simple of xp questions. Normally the other way around.

Boot to xp.

Delete any partitions you don't want (linux) and then normal install. You don't need to fix mbr. MS has a way of doing that for you even if you don't want it.
