I am currently trying to uninstall Office 2000 SR-1 and the system continues to ask for Office 2000 Disk 2 . It has been several years since I have had this application running on the computer and never spent the time to try and remove it. Office 2003 worked fine with the install in the computer but now I am wanting to upgrade and install Office 2007. I have been told that I have to have the Disk 2 to remove the program. I have not been able to find the disk. Is there any way to get this program out of the computer short of reformatting?

FJ40_fun, you can download Revo Uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo... Use that and it will help you uninstall all the registry items too. After that you can install the newer version. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
