Most Windows programs must be removed thru the Control Panel.

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Double Click, Add or Remove Programs.
Scroll down to the Microsoft Office program you want to uninstall
Click Remove

See how that works.

Also, never post your email address in a public forum,
unless you like getting a ton of spam.

Unless it's a standalone program, often called "portable" applications these days, you shouldn't just delete the program or folder because that's not really uninstalling it. Programs make adjustments in many areas of the computer and registry, so you're certainly leaving stuff behind if you're not using the un-installation wizard.

In fact, now that it sounds like you tried deleting files/folders in order to uninstall, the un-installation wizard may not function properly. So you'd have to re-install Office 2007 just to get the un-installation wizard to work properly.

It's not as complicated as it may sound, just a little annoying.

Apologies if I don't respond to your reply immediately. I don't check this site daily, but you're welcome to PM me as a reminder.
