I just got a Dell Inspiron 5150. Its running on Win XP Pro. I wanted to uninstall the Norton Internet Security and Anti virus 2004 so that i could install the Norton AntiVirus Corporate edition. But the programme is not listed in the Add/Remove programes utility. So i went to the Norton site and went about following the instructions to manually remove the programme. Now, Norton internet security and AntiVirus seem to be uninstalled. But i cant install the Corporate edition. I keep getting error messages. Anyone can help ?
thx!

How to uninstall Norton AntiVirus by using the Rnav2003.exe removal utility
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2001092114452606Or ,
Registry Ripper
http://www.karenware.com/powertools/powertools.asp
Extract portions of Windows' Registry, and save them to a file.
Copy selected Registry entries to a .REG file, for easy importing into another Registry. Move Registry entries from one computer to another, or make selective backup copies of your Registry data.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Ive used the utility to remove any earlier versions and gone on to the nxt step. But when i try to delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared
I get an error message saying "cannot delete vpshell2.dll. Access Denied"

Im following the instructions from

Use Registry Ripper for fast detection & removal of Norton & Symantec .
