I am not able to access the uninstall function in XP. I am logged as as Administrator. I have run a fresh virus scan and all spyware has been removed. When I click the uninstall programs and software in control panel the "wait while the list is populated" message is displayed. At this point the screen disappears. Someone Help. It also is doing this on some other functions i.e.: progras access and other sections of the control panel area. Help!!
If you have your xp install disc then insert it in the cd-rom and go to : start..>.. run..and type "SFC /scannow" without the quotations and notice the space. It will scan and repair all your windows components and not bother any of your other programs.
