No there is no way to REMOVE IE from Windows XP RC1. It depends on the internet explorer engine to run many features.
Is there a problem with IE 6.0 please tell me the issues you are having.

Please E-Mail me if any1 figures out how 2 unintall IE6. Or FULLY reinstall it (downloading again does not work, its just say new version installed cannot update). I'm having trouble with opening in new windows. Whenever I click a link and choose to open in a new window, a dormant new window open with just a white blank page saying nothing. The status bar does not say done, it is blank,

Same here..
1. Every child window (Jave, HTML, etc.) is a blank useless window. Thus any page that spawns another "child" page becomes useless.
2. I can uninstall IE6. Control Panel: Add/Remove Programs: Windows Programs (the second button down on the left). Uncheck Internet Explorer. Poof, it's gone, but 5.5 Cannot be installed. So this is useless unless you rely on Netscape for everything.
2.a. Note: windowsupdate.microsoft.com needs IE to access. Netscape can't do it. So once a again monopoly-Bill makes binds us to use this product.
Summary: I know this is a WinME thing, but that forum seems to be really slow..and IE6 is a WinXP thing, right??? Again, sorry but please try to help out anyway, if you can?? THANKS SO MUCH. I want to uninstal...
