Unhappy Trails on Monitor

Comment:
We were experiencing ghostly trails on monitor, so we purchase new monitor and have same ghostly trails. Geeks gave us three different reasons why this was happening, and one even admitted he had never seen anything like it. Disconnected all electronics and still had trails. We updated reinstalled video driver at their suggestion, but to no avail. Anyone have a suggestions as to what is causing this problem?

Its probably because of incorrect frequency.
Go to Display Properties > Settings > Advanced and then choose the Monitor Tab. You will see monitor settings section there change the screen refresh rate one by one and one of them might work fine and get the annoying trails off. This refresh rate also depends on the screen resolution.
Hope it helps :)

If you are talking about mouse trails go to Control Panel> Mouse> Pointer Options. Under visibility make sure the 'Display pointer trails' box is not checked.
