Unexpected shut down

Hello guys just trying to get some information about what has happened to my desktop computer, yesterday i was working on my computer and out of nowhere it just went off, i tried powering up but all that comes on is the stanby light and the hard drive lights just blinking , both fans the cooling fan in the cpu and the power supply fan not coming on, any tips on what went wrong will be thankful for . thank you

Hi, maybe you have a loose wire or something. Have you tried opening up the case?

It is most likely a power supply problem. Don't get fooled by the fact that you see some evidence of power. The power supply has to supply several different voltages, and just one missing voltage can cause the problem that you are seeing. However those symptoms can also be caused by a motherboard problem, or even something connected to the motherboard.
