Can you ever undo a save? Say you accidently saved over something you wanted to keep. I think you can't but a friend called me with this problem so I thought I'd ask this group.

I think my friend said it was Print Shop. But aren't all saves pretty much the same.

Not necessarily, some applications, particularly CAD applications, keep a copy of the original when they save a new copy. But this is the exception rather than the rule.

Most applications, when you save, overwrite the original. In that case, once you have saved there is no going back unless you have kept a backup copy somewhere.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to get some feedback from the group.
Thanks again,

you'd better look for backup file or see whether the app can undo or not.

When Editing a Document or Image it is advisable to Name each change differently before Saving eg Letter1 - Letter2 - Letter3 etc

That way you'll never overwrite your original File

When finished - the previous 'edits' can be Deleted and the 'final product' Renamed to whatever
