Hi! I have two questions:

1. My HDD was set to compress unused files every 50 days; I wasn't aware of this until yesterday. Is this a bad idea to have it compress the HDD, and if so, how do I uncompress it.

2. I use Norton Antivirus. Is it better to scan for viruses in Safe Mode or in a normal logon, and if it is better to scan in safe mode, do I scan the administrator or my login?

Thank you in advance!
Chris
