Unable to view flash

September 24, 2009 at 07:48:01
Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 2.996 GHz / 3583 MB
I was doing my stuff when adobe flash suddenly crashed on me.I am now unable to view flash(videos and games and ads) on websites such as newgrounds, youtube etc.

I am able to view flash on Safari and google chrome though, therefore, i think the problem is with my mozilla firefox and IE8.Hotmail also fails.I tried reinstalling java and it still failed :(

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Many times uninstallung the FlashPlayer using the Adobe uninstaller then restarting your computer then reinstalling the FlashPlayer solves this problem,

How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control.

Install Adobe Flash Player

Make sure that you uncheck "Free Google Toolbar (optional)" prior to installing the FlashPlayer if you don't want it. Also close all open windows prior to doing the install.

If the above doesn't work, you can try the standalone flash player. I always keep a copy in my documents in case my flash player quits on me.
