When I open tools, internet options and want to chose a home page, the choice is all greyed out under general tab.Is there a registry tweak or have I killed a button some where? Thank you all.

Bill, Do you have Spybot S&D or some other type of Adware/Spyware program installed? There may be a setting that has locked your homepage.

Tufenuf, thanks for the reply. Only thing would be Spysweeper. But I unchecked all the shields and still nothing. I have adaware, but don't see any thing related to home page. I'm stumped.

You could also go to the link below and under the letter "H" scroll down to "Home Page Hijacking" where you'll find several possible fixes (e.g. Unlock Home Page: reg file). If you use this fix save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. If this works then change your Homepage to what you want. There's also a fix to lock your homepage once you have it set to what you want which you may want to download also.
