Tink Hi I just downloaded Microsoft office and Outlook 03. I'm unable to save .gifs in Outlook 03 but I can in Outlook express and in IE. There must be a setting for this? My temps and cookies are delted daily. I'm unable to locate this info anyplace.

Tink2725: the problem may be settings in Microsoft Word. many folks use Word as an editor in Outlook. if you can't open or send picture attachments , open Microsoft Outlook. click Tools, Options, select Mail Format tab, under Message Format, uncheck the box that says "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages." if you want to continue to use Word as the editor, try this: open a blank Word document. click File, Open. in the Open box, navigate to Program Files, Microsoft Office, Office 10, 1033. double click Email.dot. click Tools, Options, View. clear the box next to Picture Placeholders. click OK. save Email.dot.
