Subject: unable to run programs from hard drOS: win xp proCPU/Ram: 800/ 540 |
Comment: I run some programs from CD on my computer. I tried to copy these CDs on my hard drive so that I can run them from hard drive instead rather than carrying cds with me all the time. But they dont run from hard disk even when I tried to install them fresh from files on my hard disk. Is there any way to run programs from hard drive instead of cd? Thanks

Reply: (edit)There is a program called "Game Drive". It copies a pc game to the hard drive to improve performance (and you dont need the CD to start the game, so I think). I've never used this program, and I'm not sure if you can use it with reg. programs.
