I just got a system with XP Home and it won't read cd's burned with Adaptec Easy CD Creator from my ME system. I burned them as data discs to be distributed by different computers. I have no clue what burner my new machine has, which is a CD RW in an Emachines W2040. My previous one was a CD R. It also reads all my blank CD R's as not writable or full when I try to burn a cd, which pops up from windows.
When you ejected the CD did you make readable to other computers ?

There's nothing wrong with your new system CindyLou.What you are going to have to do is put your burned CD's back in your old system and burn all the compilations to one track and then put them in your XP system and everything will be right there. If you are going to continue to use Easy CD Creator make sure it is the latest version. Old versions will not work well at all with XP. I strongly suggest that you download the Ahead Nero program which works perfectly with WinXP.
