What is your D drive? A CD? A second partition on your Hard Drive? Have you always gotten this and selected "Explorer?" Is that Windows Explorer, or Internet Explorer?
Does this happen when you double-click to open C? What if you right-click on your "D" drive?

Look and see if there's an autorun.inf file in your D drive.

Right-click and select open if you can. If not, right-click the D drive and drag to the desktop and create a shortcut to open it.

Are you running anti-virus software?

silverknight696, Glad to see that the problem is corrected and I hope it stays fixed as sometimes after a reboot the problem re-emerges. Thanks for posting back.
