unable to login into my profile

Specs: Windows XP, 512
i recently upgraded my machine to XP from win2000.The problem i am having now is that its now logging me only to its default profile.the machine is on a domain and its now giving me an error when i try to login with my profile.what could be problem.

Did you add the client to the Domain? If you do indeed have those privileges, then you need to use your Domain account to login. Don't you have an IT Person who can set this up for you?
