Comment: hi. i am am trying to fix my brothers computer and i cant get to the desktop.when windows loads up i get a blue screen saying-unable to load device driver \system root\system32\drivers\Mxlw2k.sys error status 0xc0000102. i pesonaly use windows 98 so im not too familier with xp.BTW this has nothing to do with the question but how do i run msconfig in xp?i typed it in run and nothing showed up.thanks

Reply: (edit)Nammingway: Have you tried booting to "Last known good configuration"? It will show up on the same menu as Safe Mode. If that doesn't work I would try a repair install from the Windows XP install CD. Be advised you may have to reinstall any service packs afterwards.
