Hi keef444 yes i checked the boot order in the BIOS..and cdrom is the first boot device... let me know..wat else i can try..thanks

If ur W2K wont boot, then u could try booting a Win98 startup floppy disk and running x:\i386\winnt.exe at the command prompt (where 'x' is ur cdrom drive letter). Not sure if Korsam's suggestion above will work anyway (haven't tried it), but it sounds feasable !! Hope this helps
