Hi. the problem is this...I am trying to load a Vauxhall TIS disc and it loads so far then this message appears E2491:Creation of cpriodb failed- error code 42 'attach to CD-ROM database cpriodb: romfile 0 has unsound size 1522933773 (8192)' . It then askes to uninstall then re install the programme but the same thing happens. I assume its a problem with the installation disc? I have tried to load the disc on several different OS but get to the same point each time. The suppier of the disc says that it needs to be installed using windows 7 pro or ultimate. Im not convinced. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

There should be some fact sheet about what the minimum requirements are for that.

I have never heard of a W7 pro/ultimate only but I can say a W7 only program would not work on xp.

Hope you didn't pay too much for it. I'd send it back and get one that has xp as a supported OS.

I am surprised how cheap the manuals are. http://www.workshopmanuals.biz/vaux... Dunno if that link is legitimate or not. I know I paid about $150 for a complete factory service manual. Might go to the dealer and see what they get for them or see if helminc.com has one.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
