I am having an issue with deleting a folder in the My Music folder. I tryed to download a video via Limewire. I never finished the download because I realized it was not what I wanted. Now this file is in the Incomplete folder in My Music. I want to delete the file, but every time I click on the Incomplete folder explorer crashes.
I've tried going through the command prompt, that just crashes. Norton also crashes when attempting to scan that folder as well. I have also tried to do the command prompt as well in Safe Mode.
It doesnt affect my day to day activities but I just want to make sure that it isnt going to cause any long term damage(that and I hope its not a phishing virus checking my key strokes).
Anyone have any ideas or am I going to have to wipe my harddrive clean and start over? Thanks in advance.

google for move on boot, that should do it for you
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I downloaded the move on boot. I want to delete the whole folder of incomplete. But when I click on the Incomplete folder, it crashes the move to boot program. I have also tried to open the folder in the program and it also causes it to crash.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Hmmmmm....that is a stuboorn one...LOL

Good LuckDelete Doctor for easy removal

I used the Delete Doctor and set it up to delete upon restart. After I restarted my comp, I checked to see if was still there. Unfortunately it is still there, and still crashes explorer.
The HouseCall program didnt do much of anything, after it scanned my comp, it just sat there idle.
Thanks again for trying to help.

And when I try to delete all files in the folder, it gives me this error:
External Exception C000001D
I dont know if that helps.

unlock the file by "Unlocker", and kill it by "Killbox" or "Icesword", no need to go to safe mode

I just used ice sword to delete the folder. I says that I need to reboot my system after. Hopefully it has gotten rid of the problem. Ill post after I reboot.

Glad you got the problem rectified, thanks for posting back
