OK here's a weird problem....I had an Epson Stylus RX955 printer connected to my Dell laptop, running XP Home SP2, that was running fine and shared amongst all the other computers in my network...now I've switched the printer connection to the above stated computer and I cannot install it on any other systems through the "ADD PRINTER" wizard in XP. In the "Browse" section the computer name shows up, but not the printer. File sharing works, I've made sure the "GUEST" account is active and that file and printer sharing are enabled...what gives?
