Hi guys
Over the last few weeks I have been having the occasional problem.....basically when switching on, I get to the user screen but when I click on a user icon nothing happens. I can move the mouse but after a few clicks trying to click on my user icon I get a rather concerning bleep from my box & the screen freezes. The only way to resolve is to reboot & try again.
This may happen 2/3 times before i can eventually click on my icon & get in to my side of the PC...my wife is having the same issue when she tries to sign in aswell

If this only happens in the mornings when the machine is cold, it's probably a poor connection. You could try reseating all the connectors and cards. I would suggest trying one at a time, If you get any change in symptoms, immediately stop and analyze the situation. You might have created another problem.
