I'm trying to logon to my Win2k domain with the box "user must change password on next login" checked for the user I'm trying to logon with. It tells me I have to change the password and gives me the dialog to change it. When I have entered the old and new password and click "ok" it tells me I cannot change the password: access is denied.

the disable user from changing password and user must change password on next login cannot both be check windows doesn't allow it. i would just log on to locally to ur 2k server as admin and change the password there and then set it so the password never expires
