Subject: Unable to backup data using QuickenOS: Win XP OEMCPU/Ram: 1.2/256 |
Comment: Hi, I am trying to backup quicken data but the problem is that I clicked on backup but nothing happens after that. The option "Use Windows recording software is enabled" but no go. It does not opens up the windows cd copying wizard. But the same quicken software works on other machine. I was able to backup data before but recently I did Format Reinstall and am facing issue after that. However I am able to copy data using Windows burner in regular way and cd gets copied. But am not able to backup data from quicken. Can anyone help me. Thanking you and waiting for kind replies Amit

Reply: (edit)You are backing up to CD? I have Quicken Home and Business 98 running under Windows XP Home. I backup to a folder C:\Database. Then regularly I copy it to CD using Nero. Compaq Presario SR1720NX Desktop Computer AT&T SBC Yahoo DSL Home Linksys Router/2 computers

Reply: (edit)I haven't used Quicken for a few years, but if I remember correctly, you first need to configure the software with the designated backup location. Have you done that? Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
