Typing problem on my laptop

whenever im ready to send a message from my laptop to some1 i cant see what im typing..Whether its myspace,yahoo messenger,E.T.C i begin typing and nothing appears on the screen..The cursor is moving but no words appear.

Besides restarting your computer open the keyboard Icon
in the Control Panel and try the Trouble shooter in the
Hardware Tab. Maybe it will give you some suggestions.
