Hi,
Whenever i type somthing in the address bar,
then if someone else types it again later its still there showing up for all eyes to see everywhere iv been on line.
How do i remove the web addresses i typed?
I thought deleting the cookies would be the answer but that didnt work either.

Other users shouldn't see any addresses you've typed unless you're all logging in with the same user id.

What browser are you using?

See DeleteURLs on Mesich's site.

It easily removes the "Typed URLs" with a click. I keep a shortcut for it on my desktop for easy access.

Otherwise, instead of typing the URLs into the address bar use Ctrl+O and they will not be recorded when typed into the dialog box.

Bryan

in internet explorer, go to tools > internet options > content ... click 'settings' in the AutoComplete section disable what you don't want IE to 'remember'

Delete Individual Links in Firefox & IE.
Although Shift+Delete is only mentioned for Firefox, I think it also works for IE.

Bryan: You must have to Restart your pc in order for the deletion of each url to take effect. Because even though it deleted from the utility ok, it is still in my address bar! Will restart this pc now and see if they are still there! Thanks

You need only close the browser before deleting the URLs. When you open the browser again they are gone.

I use it because I like to keep some there so I like to 'manage' them. The tool makes it real simple.

Bryan
