Comment:

When I either hit keys really fast, or press 3 or more keys at once my computer just resets, no message or anything pops up, it just resets. I thought that it would be a bios thing, or have something to do with the motherboard, cuz if it was Win XP it would probably have a error message or something. I searched my motherboard book and searched all the settings in my bios, and havent found anything close to this. I've run out of ideas why it does it and its really annoying when im playing games or in a hurry to type something. Can somebody please help me?

Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Starup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart.

Now you should get an error message when it happens again.

click start, go to run, type "shutdown -a" without quotes. make sure u put a space between shutdown and -. hope that helps! :)

Do you mean that the computer restarts, or that Windows Explorer restarts. If you mean the latter, I have had a similar problem ever since I've had XP. Windows Explorer restarts when I scroll too fast, or if I click Start then quickly move my mouse up to programs (I'm using the classic start menu). I have changed motherboards during that time, so I know it is not a motherboard problem. I asked for a solution on this and other forums, but never found one. I've just learned to live with it (although it can be very annoying).
