Two Problems - MSN Messenger & Google Chrome

Specs: Windows XP, Intel P4 @ 3GHz + 2GB RAM
Hi everyone,

I have Windows XP SP3 and I just installed it few days ago (less than a week).

I got two problems, used to get them before 2 years, I moved to Vista, Win7 and I'm back now to XP SP3. My two problems are:

1- Every time I restart my PC, when I try to sign in to MSN Messenger (latest version), I can't find my Email nor password.

The same issue happened with me 2 years back but as I mentioned, I shifted to Vista and it never happened with me again until I formatted and installed XP few days back.

2- Google Chrome keep crashing almost every time I use it no matter how many tabs are open. Even if I open 1 tab, it crashes. I don't understand why? I have FireFox and it's working fine without any issue.

Any idea how to solve/fix these two issues?

Many thanks!

What version of IE are you using.

WinXP originally shipped with IE5, I believe. IE5 is not going to be compatible with your email client. Upgrade to IE7. Get 7 at the link below.

Why did you go back to WinXP anyway?

Check my post again, buddy :)

First of all, I don't use IE at all. Second of all, I'm talking about MSN Messenger not nor Also, I was talking about Google Chrome (browser).

I went back to XP SP3 as a temporary solution until I buy a new HDD. It's a long story and I believe you posted some answers to my previous problem :)
