for some reason i frequently end up with 2 ie browsers running - i know this has happened because my pc slows to a crawl - i then have to cancel one via task manager - any ideas?

Are you using Win 98 or Win XP?

This is the XP Forum. What other programs do you have running? How much free space is available on your drive and have you defragged it? What version of IE? Have you tried another browser?

Life's more painless for the brainless.

The second IE just might be a Pop-Up (and could explain the "slowing to a crawl") -- in which case, try to provide us some particulars.
