Hi
A have a computer 2 hard drives. I have on the main drive Win XP already installed. i want to install a seconf Win XP Pro on the second hard drive and have a dual boot that I can choose the OS I want. Reason : on second hard drive I can make tests without being afraid to loose all my "main" datas

Boot up with CD; do NOT opt/choose to repair anything when given the choice... Choose a fresh/new installation.
Change the default path to be the second drive - and install as per norm...
Might be useful though to first format that second drive via the current installaton; then reboot etc with CD as above...
Be VERY careful not to repair anything; NOT to point the new installation to the current OS location/folder.
There is another way too - but if you're happy with the above then fine...
You do not need any add-in boot-manager utils etc. to achieve the dual-boot.
If in any doubts... and perhaps regardless.. first copy all your data/files etc to external media; and verify they are accessible too... Then proceed with your dual-boot. Why copy data etc? Just in case something goes amiss and you lose all those files...!
