TV card mutes itself after 2 minute

Hello. I am using a Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe card and am having a problem. The sound is on when I turn the program on, but after a couple minutes it "mutes" itself. It doesn't actually turn the mute function on, but it simply won't produce any sounds. I am using winXP home and recently installed an Audigy 2 upgrade from an SB Live! (which had no problems BTW with the TV card). Anyone have any ideas? Why the heck would it work when it's turned on but decide it won't play sounds after a minute or so?

Try disabling all system sounds for error messages and the like.

Hmmm, what would that do in this case for help? I would go to sounds control panel option and take a "no sounds" option?

I have a Creative Digital VCR card installed in my system and when certain sounds are played it disables the sound until I go back to the DVCR program and click on it.
