Turning off Offline Files

I am wondering if there is a way to disable offline files completely in Windows XP. Perhaps there is some registry setting or something similar? This is a challenge posting by CNChallenger.

In Windows Explorer, Tools, Options, Offline files. Uncheck the boxes. EEOC

Summary: In your My Computer's Folder Options (not IE) settings, try turning off the Automatically search for network folders and printers. And also turn off Offline Files. See if that helps. Also, check your ...
