Hi If you mean preview pane, click on View, untick preview pane, if this is not what you mean give a little more info please

No, I am talking about composing an email in outlook express and the sentences are double spaced instead of being together one over the other as in this text here, not this:

Actually I found it. Go to ms word then format then paragraph then change the auto columns under spacing to 0 under before and after.
