Trying to reinstate exetender player

Specs: Windows XP
need to reinstate the exetender player. since deleting FreeRidesGames, my computer says I must reinstate the above. I have tried rescue and recovery, but doesnt work, I have tried the Cdocument file,but, noticed 20%FreeRidesGames still there. I brought it up but couldnt delete,because , windows said the file is missing. THE 20% is on the browzer page,which I can't get rid of. Can you please help?

Maybe this?

Install, reboot, and uninstall. Don't delete. There are files hidden that need removed to stop those annoying messages.

If it is a virus of a sort. Might be able to remove it with Spybot..

Thank You for your reply. I finally contacted the source,Free Ride Games, and was able to get rid of and reinstated the exetender player. My advice unless you have the best computer, DO NOT INSTALL FREE RIDE GAMES, the games are just to hard the system.

I do have another ? Can I get rid of security updates from jan-2011?
