I am having trouble with installing Windows XP Professional on my Compaq Deskpro EXM 933. The OS that came by factory default was Win2000. In fact I CAN install Windows XP, BUT very very very very very slow. There is the display with "Installation complete in 37 minutes". And then it takes him about two hours to go from 37 to 34 minutes. After two days of running time, XP is now completely installed but when I want to use it it's also very damn slow. My processor has 933 MHz and I have 128 MB RAM. there shouldn't be any problem normally. Maybe one of you knows if there is some special BIOS or any drivers for a Compaq PC. Try increasing the RAM to at least 256,, 512 is much better
