Hi i have also been having alot of problems with itunes but mine started when i did restore on my pc it was running fine b4 that i get message that.
The registry settings used by itunes drivers for importing and burning cd's and dvd's are missing this can happen as a result of installing other cd burning software please reinstall itunes .
so i do and it says its fine then when i turn off pc or reset it the drivers on my hardware show as error 41 and says that the device can not be found . so i cant use the dvd or cd rom .
Anyone got any ideas as i been though to pc world windows apple and no one seems to have a clue whats going on.HELP PLEASE.!! AM RUNNING XP

anita, SWAG, sounds to me like the restore got rid of your drivers for your CD. Since you reinstalled Ipods, that likely is O.K. Think I'd see if the drivers are still there prior to pulling hair or running in circles.
HTH.
