after installing a new hard drive, I'm trying to get my printer working again, its a HP photosmart 2610xi all in one. I was on the chat with HP all morning and after saving the downloads to my desktop, when I click on run to download I get an ERROE MESSAGE "Fead 2.5 optimizer,the system cannot find the path, fileC:/temp/hp_web release, error code3.1812.01.2.25016" what am I missing here

download using firefox, go to the hp site, support/drivers and find the appropiate drivers. redownload and you should be good to go. let us kno whats up. sounds like you used IE which clears cache and temp files randomly.
