Is there any reason why I shouldnt be able to register on a forum using an email address on another computer. Does it use cookies in the verifing process. This particular forum (Jeeps Unlimited) sends me an email to verify my address but it never arrives. I cant post to the forum because I am not registered yet and their contact link doesnt work so am at a lost as to what to do. I havent used the forum for a couple of years and I have forgoten my password but I cant receive the password reset email from them.

navigator1, is it possible they're sending the confirmation to the other addy? Many forums send a message to the addy you give in order to verify it and block fraudulent registrations. Any correspondence must come from there or get ignored. PIA, but...

What a coincidence?? I just signed up for that forum last week and STILL haven't received my confirmation e-mail from them either. I went to their site to do a "re-send", and again I got nothing.

I checked all my computer's settings, double-checked that I was providing them with my correct e-mail address, and everything else I could think of, all to no avail. I thought I was doing something wrong, but now I see that another person is having the same problems. JeepsUnlimited is really beginning to annoy me!

Yes seems the problem is their end. They have given me a new password after I contacted them through the link on the homepage labeled advertising or something similiar.
