Comment:

I just installed Windows XP and I'm having trouble installing service pack 1. Whenever I try to install it, I get some kind of error message about atapi.sys being used by another process. I checked Microsofts Q&A and I saw something about RAID drivers. Is that typically why problem occurs?

Open task manager and kill any unnecessary programs running and try it.
