I'm not sure what the problem is I get some good cd's some bad. They all go through the whole burn process successfully but then I reinsert the cd and it's blank. Or I'll be able to see the files with the cdr drive but not the cdrom drive. These are all no multisession. I've tried multisession some first session I can't see the files, some cd's I can see the files but I try adding files and finalizing the cd and I only see the original files. I've even saved the compilation and setting on a good burn then I tried it with different files and it's no good. I click on the 'medium info' button on the toolbar and I get disc info. The good cd's, in the upper left under CD-ROM it says 'Read Only CD (120mm)' the bad cd's have 'DDCD' under CD-ROM. Can anyone tell me what settings I should be using in nero under the Iso tab in the write CD dialog for a cdrom(iso). Lately I've been getting alot of coasters. I tried using winxp's burning once and I got a coaster. Any ideas? I'm using an Amd 1ghz, 256mb, creative cdrw 4xwrite 2xrewrite 24xread, 52x cdrom. I'm burning with Nero 5.5.5.4.

Why not just use media player. I started using it and it does a great job. I have not even installed Nero since installing XP's Media Player. Good Luck!

There is a patch for nero through auto update :)
