Check withing the running processes, try to end the process of any of the files listed in The AVG report, if this fails, Restart in safe mode, check the paths to the files listed in Your AVG report, then go to the folders and mannualy delete them, it's possible that they (trojans} may have made entries to your system registry, and these entries will also have to be removed. I have seen many references to this trojan, Backdoor Agent AC, BA, but none for the AS type, also check out Bit Defender for any removal tools.

Forgot to include 1) Disable System Restore before starting in safe mode., Also check the other Anti Virus programs web sites for removal tools.

lisad,

Have you tried a free online scan?

I had quite a few virus problems myself. To scan your whole computer for pesky viruses and trojans, why don't you try Panda Online? Go to google and type in Panda Online, then go to the first result you get. You'll get to a page and near the bottom click on Free Scan. A small window will pop up, then wait and enter your e-mail address (this is to get rid of any trojans or viruses lurking there) then you select your county and province. Finally you'll get to a page where it asks you what you would like scanned. Click on hard drive. :D Wait for it to complete its scan and the problem shall be fixed!^^

PS. If you can't access Internet Explorer, I suggest that you try to go on it in Safe Mode. Good luck!

Agreed, disable system restore, sounds like you did that.

Scan in safe mode is a good idea.

Don't forget to dump temporary internet files including offline content. They'll often hide in there!
