What is the best trojan horse removal scanner on the net??? I have xoftspy which is not finding anything on the system but when avg is run its finding trojans.

There is no such thing as "best" scanner because it all depends on the algorithms set forth and adopted by the respective vendor. This account for why one program will find something that the other misses and vice versa. The is also hold true for antivirus and antispywares.

There are hundreds if not thousands of trojans. A little more info from you (i.e., name) will be helpful for us to make a viable suggestion.

Internet is full of various spyware adware trojan removers. there are more than 350 spyware removers in the market and majority of them are really bad products made just to deceive the user and get money. Read reviews: here is the list of good antispyware programs and here is the list of bad programs called corrupt antispyware
Summary: i have been having trouble with popups etc and when i run adaware it removes loads of crap but it keeps coming back. Something is making a barrage of popups open when i dont even have the browser open...
